The Ultrasonic Portable Mini Wind Meter by Calypso Instruments is a lightweight, compact wind meter ideal for long range hunters and shooters. It uses ULTRASONIC sensors with zero moving parts to measure wind speed and direction which is then logged in a free app. It connects to a compatible device via Bluetooth, but can also connect to a display or network, you can use one of our gateways: the NMEA Connect Plus gets the Portable Bluetooth signal and converts it to a wired or NMEA0183 or NMEA2000 signal. It also relays the Bluetooth signal and casts NMEA0183 data via WiFi.
